Twelve Poses vs. Osteoporosis
Reviews from VideoFitness
my review was lost, as I stupidly tried to find the sciatica site link to put in. so, here's a recap.
The dvd isn't worth buying, IMO, because you can't work out to it, as they don't cue side changes. Also, no real savasana, they tell you to do it, without distractions, but talk nonstop thru it. No music, which would've been o.k., if they'd cued the side changes.
They do have three different people at different levels doing the routine, one of whom does the poses modified, in a chair. The instructions are good, and would be beneficial if they were given in a more timely manner - you get some on one side, and more, sometimes more in depth on the 2nd side. This bothered me too.
sciatica.org has a list of the poses, and they are all on other dvds that are more user friendly.
He's knowledgeable, does the exercises with good form, and is pleasant enough. There are 2 women also, who's names I don't remember who do the other variations. They all look like regular people, not fitness models, which I liked. I've used this once and will probably never use it again.
