Format:

~ Warm up (4 min)

~ Increase pace (a few times over the next 5 minutes)

~ Mini sprints - increase pace then lower ~ .5mph (5 minutes)

~ 10% hill - walk with optional jog (3 minutes)

~ Mini sprints - this time a little faster (4 minutes)

~ Mini hill - 2% grade (2 minutes)

~ Regular run (3 minutes)

~ Take pace down about .5mph then

~ Hill intervals (4 minutes)

~ Cool down run (3 minutes)

~ Walk (1.5 minutes)

~ Stretch (3.5 minutes)

I find this workout to be very tough, like many of the 40 minutes workouts. They are almost as fast as the 20 minutes sprint workouts, but twice as long.

This one has pretty good music and I like it quite a bit, even though I don't do enough since it is hard for me. (Which means it is the one I should do more probably.)

I like that iTrain offers a variety of lengths in the workouts, and different training focuses. It is good to have some 40 minute workouts to get the tempo type workout in where I push myself.
