This introductory Pilates workout is very similar to the Stott tapes in that the moves are demonstrated and explained in a very "clinical" way, to borrow someone else's term. There is a voice in the background while someone demonstrates. You run through all the standard Pilates moves, and each is explained well, although perhaps not quite as well as Moira Stott does on her tapes. I found it pretty boring. If you didn't like the Stott tapes, you won't like this one either. There is nothing wrong with the workout, if you're looking for a basic get-down-to-business Pilates workout. It simply won't appeal to people who like a little more personality from their video instructors.
